David Edward Fly, P.E.

David is a professional engineer specializing in manufacturing processes.  He is currently teaching mechanics of materials and a fundamentals course in electricity and electronics.   An apprentice journeyman before college, his natural inclinations are the practical applications of engineering as used for industrial machinery and production operations.  His strengths and interest are 3D printing, robotics, industrial tooling, machinery design, solid modeling, statistics, rapid prototyping, and intellectual property.  He has owned and operated an engineering company, designed machines, worked one week in China with engineers there, and commercialized patented technology.
